Private Group and Instruction Policy

Effective: June 1, 2017

TERM

All students enroll for either a full or pro-rated term based upon registration date.

CANCELLATIONS

Notification prior to 8:00 pm the day before a scheduled lesson will qualify for a guaranteed make-up lesson.

Notifications after 8:00 pm the day before a scheduled lesson will qualified for a non-guaranteed make-up lesson subject to teacher availability.

In the event of a teacher cancellation, iSchool will arrange for either a qualified substitute teacher or a make-up lesson.

MAKE-UP LESSONS

iSchool guarantees 3 make-up lessons per term provided NOTIFICATION WAS RECEIVED BY 8 PM the day before the schedules lesson(s).

Make-up lessons may only be rescheduled with the student’s instructor and may not be used as credit or carried over to another term.

There are no make-ups for group classes unless cancelled by iSchool.

PAYMENT

All programs including trial lessons are pre-paid for the term or pro-rated for the remainder of the term.

Monthly installments can be made according to the Monthly Installment Agreement and do not qualify for any discounts. Monthly registration is subject to different program rates.

There is a fee for application, recital or band for all Fall and Spring terms.

DISCOUNT

All programs must be pre-paid at the time of registration to qualify for discounts. Discounts are applicable during Fall and Spring terms.

REFUNDS

Students who withdraw within the first 4 weeks will receive a FULL refund for all remaining classes paid for. Notice must be given within the 5th week to qualify for a refund.

Withdrawal after the 5th week will result in iSchool credit. Application/recital/band fees are non-refundable.

RETURNED CHECK FEE

All returned checks are subject to a $35 fee.

RECITALS

iSchool holds recitals during the Fall and Spring terms. It is considered a privilege to perform in an iSchool recital. Students must be consistently enrolled throughout each term and only those students sufficiently prepared will perform. Sufficient preparation will be determined by the student’s instructor.

STUDENT CONDUCT POLICY

iSchool has a friendly atmosphere where students can enjoy themselves while developing their artistic skills. Students are supervised by staff and must take responsibility for their belongings. iSchool is not liable for theft or damaged property. Any student that engages in dangerous or harmful behavior, including but not limited to violence or damage to property will be summarily disenrolled from iSchool.
