As iSchool students finish up their musical journeys for this year, allow us to reveal to you an adventurous pit stop into a new and exciting virtual world!
Over the years, we have found that kids who don’t like to practice tend to share very similar reasons. As parents and teachers we need to understand these reasons and find ways to help these children overcome them. In this post, we will focus on the 5 most popular reasons for not wanting to practice.
Thoroughly engaging a child in the process of learning to read music is critically important.
On April 2nd 2017, our iSchool chamber ensemble students gave a concert to friends and family. The group of students had also been preparing to enter into different competitions for solo, duos and trios.
We took a group of 11 kids on our annual China tour during spring break. This year we took one of our youngest of the age of 10. The students range from 10 to 18.
A celebration of timeless works by American composers. We performed at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall at 8pm on February 22nd, 2017.
