Davide Sgarra is an Italian jazz musician and multi-instrumentalist based in New York City. Specializing in clarinets and saxophones, he performs regularly across the U.S. and Europe in settings ranging from intimate jazz clubs to major concert halls. Davide has appeared with ensembles such as the MSM Jazz Orchestra, the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw, the Gordon Webster Band, and The Fabulous Equinox Orchestra, and has performed at venues including Dizzy’s Club, Merkin Hall, and the Perelman Performing Arts Center. A dedicated educator, he teaches woodwinds and beginner piano to students of all ages, integrating strong foundations in music theory, improvisation, and personalized learning approaches. He holds a Master of Music from the Manhattan School of Music and a degree from the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague.
