Andrea Niane Ettestoel

Hailing all the way from Norway, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in vocal performance as well as a Masters in songwriting from NYU. I have over 17 years of performance and songwriting experience from folk-pop trio Ask to my own artist project. In addition to a focus on original music, I have recently worked as a cruise ship singer where I performed a wide variety of contemporary genres from Disco to Country to 80’s rock. I have experience teaching voice, songwriting and beginner piano to all ages including small groups and full choirs. I use the piano as a tool to compose, accompany and teach music theory and I view voice as my main instrument. I love to see my students tap into their potential and use their creativity freely as well as develop tools to hone their craft.
